Another holiday reminder to give thanks and praise to Jesus Christ, Our Savior.
For the past 3 years, I've been blessed with opportunities of fellowship and worship with my brothers and sisters on Holy Thursday... and they just so happen to always occur in Sac? haha Anyway, thanks to Bas... another reunion was formed.
This year we went to mass at St. Ignatius on Arden. I loveeee how the cantor sings at this church! He got vocals. But I have to say & I know Brandon agrees, when they sing songs, they sing songs. hecka long! haha Brandon kept looking at me, giving me the face "when is the song going to be over?" haha. At St. Ignatius, they do the washing of the feet ceremony a little different. Usually you would see the priest wash a selected few in front of the entire community, but this time they had different stations set up inside the church and you could line up to wash and get your foot washed by those who wanted. Pretty dope.
Dinner plans kept changing. Finally Mimi's cafe was the final choice. GREAT food. super stuffed towards the end. Here's our annual group shot.
Thank You God, for everything (especially for putting Brandon Dejesus in my life who never fails to make me laugh). I can definitely say that I'm content.
