I ended up planning a farewell dinner for him at Auntie Kat's house. We enjoyed our typical potluck with a bunch of board games that we utilize to show off our competitive sides. There was a lot of laughs & a lot of the time I kept thinking "man, a year is too long" Well technically he'll be back in May, but so many holidays and major calendar events happen during that time span, so it seems a lot longer. Anyway, I have no doubt that Brandon is being taken care of. His guardian angel has always been alert especially as he travels.
I'm proud of him for being so courageous. Jumping into an entire new world on his own. I always knew that there was something special about him & now I know this is definitely something that will keep him in that category.
I can't wait til he returns & let's me know face to face how France has treated him.
