Episode 104: Jaz wins her first game against Jazz

Original meet up time was 3-3:30 & my ass was still in Petaluma, chillin at the outlets with my sister and parents. So, I’m like “cmon mom, I’m ready to jet.” Gotta get back to Vallejo asap. When I get back, I’m rushing through my house, grabbing the things that I’ll need for the night. Mastercard, cash, ID, chapstick, gum, camera & phone. I’m good to go. I wasn’t in the mood to carry a purse around. My sister got mad at me for not wearing any Warriors attire, but oh well.

Since my car is not in service at the moment, Bas picked me up and we headed to Christian’s house together. Right when we get there, Leiza, her brother & Drew pull up too. Niceee. Jed was the last to show up, took him like a good 20 minutes. It’s funny that he’s the one who lives closest to Christian too -___- haha I hella could have taken my time getting ready. Oh well. So when Jed shows up with the beamer, Oakland here we come.

Shotttyyyy :) So, since it’s my first time seeing Jed since he came back from the Philippines, I ask how his trip was. This nigga is thinking about going there for school!?!? What. Brother, you can’t leave! Haha but I understand. Sometimes, we all just gotta go on our separate ways to finally get our lives together. This discussion pretty much took up most of the ride to the arena. Its crazy that its been four years since we got out of high school. Time sure does fly by.

When we finally get to the arena, we find a coo lil parking spot. As we walk towards the building.. Jed gets nervous and starts thinking he forgot to lock his car. I hate when that happens. So, he runs back to the car while Bas, Drew & I wait in the rain for him to come back. Car was good? Yup. Nice & locked.

Okay, lemme just say, we had some pretty nice nosebleed seats, directly in the middle of the court. Haha whyyy were we surrounded by hella Utah Jazz fans? Haha hella funny. Wanted to pop their little noise makers. But anyway, since this was my first bball game, the little light show was pretty cute to me. As the first two quarters went on, I found myself getting more comfortable with the scene. Clapping & screaming here & there. When it was halftime.. sigghhhh time for a stretch.

It was hella funny cuz there was this photographer guy… and we was tryin to get our picture taken. So instead of calling him to us.. we sat there, posing & smiling like he would just notice and take a flick. HELLLLLA FUNNY. In your lifetime, please do this. Haha it’ll give you a good laugh. Anyway, he finally notices us & yes, we get not just one, but two shots. Once we sit back down, we get a text from Christian to meet us at a lower section with empty seats that they found.

Soo, you already know, we’re in this bitch. Haha luckily, there was no guards watching that doorway, so.. for fifteen dollars we ended the game at the courtside. Niceee right? Man, it was a whole other experience. The lights were brighter, the speakers were surround sound. Haha so this got me into the game even more. Yelling, clapping, putting my arms in the air. The works. Haha

Oh, and with these lucky seats, Drew got his chance of catching a Warriors shirt that was being tossed. Well more like catching it with his face/hat. Haha but that was dope. We were hoping we would get captured by the video cam, but it’s all good. The shirt was lucky enough for the group.

Whenever the Warrior girls came out to dance, they would make fun of me saying that I should do that. But tell me why, I helllllla knew one of their pieces!? I was like.. WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON??? Haha apparently Greg taught them the piece? I was so proud to see our little Dylan workin it with the baby Warrior dancers :) The game ended with Warriors at 116, Jazz at 96. That’s what I’m talkin about.
